Used Cost Effective Lawyers for Conveyancing on my sale and purchase in Brisbane and Gold Coast – found via the internet and would highly recommend. Penny was very approachable and always responded quickly to emails and promptly returned my phone calls. The price was very competitive – cheaper than my other solicitor and cheaper than the solicitor my Real Estate Agent tried to force me into using (???? Conveyancing Services – the people buying my house ended up using these and they were a nightmare). Recently, CNN ran an opinion column expressing the need for a cheaper medium to provide legal help to those in need.  As stated in the article:

Increasingly, the only “persons” with access to legal help are “artificial persons” — corporations, organizations and governments.

This is largely becoming a sad truth.  It becomes harder for individuals to get access to legal representation, much less quality legal representation.  The article picks up on today’s reality:

Who can afford $300 to $500 an hour to get advice on local small business regulations, the fine print in a mortgage document, or how not to make mistakes that will cost you in court when fighting over kids and money with your soon-to-be ex-spouse?
